David The Common Mynahs around our place have not yet driven the other species from our yard. The yard list keeps on rising in spite of the starlings, sparrows, spotted turtle-doves and mynahs. (No capital letters intentionally. These species don't deserve them in Australia.) An interesting observation from a birder on the Gold Coast. The common mynahs and spotted turtle-doves have slowly been replaced in his yard by Crested Pigeons and Noisy Miners. Maybe there is a Birding God after all.
