We awoke today to find a juvenile magpie goose sitting in our carport, we don't know why, after an hour it went to where ever magpie geese go in the suburbs.Later I went to water the garden and there was a rainbow pitta busy feeding, its still there and looks quite at home. I'm hanging up the binoculars and staying home in future.
