Andrew I have had a very comprehensive reply from John re. the Brush Bronzewing and in no doubt about his identification as he had good views of this bird and Common Bronzewings very soon afterward. This is another species that probably "dropped" down off Wollemi National Park (as I suspect the Beautiful Firetails do).
