Alan Stuart stated that Ellalong's claim to fame was it's lagoon. I always thought it's main claim to fame was as a regular site for Regent Honeyeaters. If there are Swifties around, and Regent Honeyeaters on the Central Coast, there is a better than good chance they are also at Ellalong ... somewhere.
