Tony,

I would almost have to dispute you over this point of a world record. 
Using the existing taxonomy of the time, a pelagic trip from Portland in
July 1992 got 8 species being Royal and Wandering, Shy, Black-browed,
Yellow-nosed, Bullers, Grey -Headed and Light-mantled Sooty.  I remember
it well as I was booked to go the weekend before but due to weather, it
was called off.  I went to Portland anyway to see the White Wagtail at
the meatworks, not thinking that the trip would be on the next week.  I
saw the wagtail and a few seabirds off Cape Nelson and came home.  Mike
Carter rang me the next night, but having already been and with no more
cash I said no. More fool me.  I still haven't seen 4 of them.
