Hi Everyone,

Once again I would like to pick your brains ( you shouldn't have been so helpful over the 1080 baiting).

I am on a management committee for the restoration of Sandfly Creek in Mackay and have been given the opportunity to conserve our High Tide Wader Roost there.

The information I need is about Bird-hides.
1.  What type are the most user-friendly?
2.  Are there any plans available?
3.  Estimate of costs?
4.  If D.N.R. have to purchase the Bird hide as a kit to conform with public safety do we have any choice?

I have been in many birdhides and many of them do not work.  As I am not a builder it is hard for me to remember how the good ones were constructed.  Any information will be much appreciated, and I need it before Monday night.  Sorry about the rush.

Maureen Cooper,
Conservation Officer for MacBoca
