Hi Bob -

I have been talking to Les Christidis about this and can amplify the
statement I made earlier. The update of Christidis & Boles will take a
little longer than I suggested, possibly being published in the second half
of next year. There will be opportunity for people to have input into
appropriate names for newly elevated / split taxa (in maybe about a year's
time). This cannot be done immediately as some taxonomic work still needs
to be done first. I will try to keep everyone on Birding-Aus informed
about developments.

Cheers,
Hugo
