I had read somewhere (but can't remember the source) of Regent Honeyeaters at times in great numbers around the early part of last century feeding on grapes in vineyards. Although ofcourse, they are no longer in such great numbers (as far as we know) but has anybody seen these honeyeaters in orchards and/or feeding on grapes in recent years? Perhaps if this was true, would there be any records in the Hunter Valley vineyards in the past?

Regards
