G'day Robert,
I would try and get into the Lockyer Valley, have a look around Jahnkes Lagoon
on the Gatton-Esk road. I have also seen them fairly recently near Caboolture
on the Toorbul turn-off and near Mango Hill. Occasionally we get one or two at
Lake Samsonvale. They are certainly one of my favourite Australian raptors,
there is a rather poor image on my web-page below.
