I have been following the Spangled Drongo 'to'ing and 'fro'ing with interest as it is one of my favourite birds.   We live at Nundah in Brisbane about 3 km from Moreton Bay.  We are probably less than 20 km south of the Redcliffe Peninsula.  Last year I diligently kept records from February as part of Pete Woodall's Garden Bird count.

Here are my details (with minimum and maximum numbers per week of SD's for each period):
                                Min            Max
21/2 to 27/3                1                7
28/3 to 01/5                2                4
02/5 to 05/6                1                3
06/6 to 10/7                2                3
11/7 to 14/8                2                2
15/8 to 18/9                2                3
19/9 to 23/10              2                3
24/10 to 27/11            0                3
28/11 to 31/12            0                0
01/01 to 04/02            0                1
05/02 to 02/03            1                2

Note:     none present from 13/11 to 14/01
There have been at least 2 around each week since March to the present date.

Cheers
