Hi everyone,

Are there any birdos out there with any information on aerial baiting dingoes with 1080 (in relation to whether it kills raptors etc.)

I have to attend a meeting on the 2nd May, 2000 with D.P.I. staff.  They are planning an assult on our cross-bred dingoes which have become a menace in the Mackay area.

I would prefer them to use baiting stations as this would save other wildlife from ingesting it.  Any scientific data or anecdotal evidence would be greatly appreciated.  I know nothing at all about 1080 or its effects on wildlife.

Thanks in advance,
Maureen Cooper,
Conservation Officer MacBoca.
