In the discussion of "good birds - bad birds" (sounds like a B grade cops movie), a mention has been made about Common Mynahs not invading rural areas. Laurie has mentioned the fact that this is untrue in Victoria. Unfortunately, it is also untrue on the Darling Downs of south-east Queensland. I have found this species up to thirty kilometres from urban areas and the range is expanding each year.
