Hello all (especially Mike Tarburton) A flock of at least 15 Whitethroated Needletails was sighted at Terrey Hills (a northern suburb of Sydney) on 25th March. There were more than this number but these were the birds actually counted.through the windscreen whilst I was waiting to enter a roundabout. Very late in the year and the largest flock I've seen this season. In this vicinity.
