Hi all,

Just thought i would share a couple of small observations from this
weekend.
Yesterday was spent playing a round of social golf at Royal Park(next to
Melb Zoo), and i happened upon a pair of Crested Pigeons feeding on the
6th hole fairway. I have not seen these in ages.
Today while walking along the Merri Creek path in Reservoir, i heard a
ruckus in one of the riparian gums, got the binos out and found the
noise to be about half a dozen or so Scaly-Breasted Lorikeets! i dont
believe i have come across them in this area before.

Cheers,

Mark Kliene.
