Schodde & Mason costs $160 which is a bit of a worry, one day I might have a money spending spree. In the meantime I would be interested to know what reasons are given for lumping Black-eared Miner and Yellow-throated. This issue seems to be a never-ending saga. Has the detailed and ongoing research at Gluepot and Calperum been taken into account where, as far as I know, Rohan Clarke and others identified that the 2 would be significantly different to be different species.

Cheers
