Apologies for the continuation of a non-birding topic (but they do fly!).
Michael Norris commented on flying-foxes in the Royal Botanic Gardens in
Melbourne, and stated that there is only one other camp in Victoria, at
Mallacoota.  This is not so.  There is an intermittent camp at Mallacoota,
untenanted by flying-foxes for much of the time.  The camp in the RBG is the
only permanent camp in Victoria.  As Michael says, many of these animals must
come from NSW.
