This morning the first groups of migrating Yellow-faced Honeyeaters are flying over my place, only very small numbers so far but considerably earlier than last year. More obvious at the moment are the Spotted Pardalotes which are moving through almost constantly in small groups. Other migrants travelling through include Silvereyes, Striated Pardalotes, White-throated Gerygones, Tree Martins, flycatchers, Grey Fantails and a Rufous Fantail which darted past my window as I was having breakfast. Cheers, Carol Carol Probets Katoomba NSW To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
