Greetings,
In an article I wrote for Studio For Men magazine some
years ago I made mention of other famous birders,
though the famed Ms Sprinkle was not among them. But
among the more interesting names were:
The absolutely fabulous Joanna Lumley
West Indian fast bowler Joel Garner (he wasn't called
"Big Bird" for nothing)
former US pres Jimmy Carter, and
Kate Pierson, vocalist with New York new wave group
the B-52s, of "Rock Lobster" and "Love Shack" fame.
Annie S is a great addition to this list. Who said
birding wasn't cool?
On another note, to spread the word about birders, I
suggest the following t-shirt logo: Life is short.
Bird Hard (with the Nike slash made to look more like
a tick).
