> Just a quick note to inform of a sighting of Channel-billed Cuckoo calling > at Lake Samsonvale on Sunday morning, by Marie, myself and a visitor from Just last Friday I saw 3 Channel-billed Cuckoos hanging around a very unlikely spot near town, here in Pomona. They were moving about in a patch of small wattles only 100 metres from the centre of town. I have a feeling there could've been at least one juvenile amongst them and thought the other two might've been the parents coming back to collect it.??? Heard the first Rose Robin on the outskirts of Pomona, while out walking yesterday morning (they usually arrive about a month later than this). Also heard a Grey Fantail this morning.
