Since moving to the Central Coast in October 1988, it has been my expereince that White-throated Needletails are present over the coastal heathlands of Bouddi, Wyrrabalong NPs and Munmorah State Recreation Area (between Broken Bay & Lake Macquarie) on a daily basis November to March, although you may have to stay around a long time to see them. This is despite the weather pattern of the time. As I cannot be there every day I cannot prove this but most days when I visit these places at this time of the year, I am seeing them!
