I've got a few but they're not as funny as Lorne's. I used to use them
until I learned the official names.
1. Southern Whiteface - Bandit Bird (look at the mask over its eyes)
2. Pied Butcherbird - Beethoven Bird (to hear is to understand)
3. Willy Wagtail - Squeaky Hinge Bird (as above, especially outside
one's window in the middle of night in the breeding season)
