Russell W tells me that Indian Mynas are in Singapore in a big way, and Gil Langfield asks me whether what I saw at the Airport wasn't a group of Javan or White-vented Mynas (Acridotheres javanicus), another introduction to penninsular Malaysia. Well, having looked at the book I think they probably were, and as this species is darker than the Jungle Myna, this could explain my initial confusion (ie they look more like Indian Mynas than Jungle Mynas do). That's what's good about birding-aus, you always get pulled up for your errors.
