Hi folks - this is NOT a hoax.

Allan Benson's message re Gloucester Tops sent earlier this evening
contained a worm virus. I can't type the name because my filters will
reject it! It's something along the lines of:
h-ap--p-y-9-9 just leave out the dashes and add the normal windows program
file 3-letter code.

If you use MS Outlook Express, etc then you are susceptible to this little
nasty. Just delete the message. I've sent poor Allan to 'coventry' while
he cleans up his system. (anyhow it's near Gloucester...)

Sorry about this one getting through - I had a filter to prevent any such
program file, but it looks like the filters for birding-aus may have
fallen over when Deakin came back to life after a long new Year's break
(and you thought nobody was sending messages!).

Birding-aus itself may be falling over as well in a few days time, only to
start a new life elsewhere. I will keep you posted. If you need to
contact me please use the addresses below, as will
no longer exist after today.

Keep smiling - it helps!
