In the text of my original message on this topic (Sat Jan 15 2000, 07:00:32 EST) I created a new species.
I used the name Streaked Swallow instead of Striated Swallow.
I did mean Striated Swallow, Hirundo striolata

I don't believe there is a 'Streaked Swallow' although Angela Turner in "A Handbook to the Swallows and Martins of the World" describes Red-rumped, Striated and the striped swallows as being 'streaked' underneath.

How does it go....... striated, streaked, striped?
