Please excuse the following naive questions, but I am an absolute beginner. I read in a publication regarding a national park that "130 species of bird have been recorded for here". Now the questions I have are: a. Where and by what means are these 'recordings' done? b. What is the organisation that makes the recordings? c. Are they in any published or accessible format?
