I bought a pair of Swarovski 8x30WB in 1994. For the price there optics are
excellent, giving wide angle vision and are particularly good in low light
conditions such as rainforest. At the time I bought mine I compared them
with Leica and Leitz and for the money they were by far the best buy.
The only drawback is they lose a little sharpness at the very edge and I
would like them to focus a little closer on close ups. Maybe the later
models have overcome this aspect!
