Went for a stroll to the Gresswell Reserve, Bundoora, Victoria today at around 1:00pm. While walking through the Habitat Corridor, we flushed a pair of Buff-Banded Rail!. They were just off the track moving about nonchalantly in medium grass. Are they common in this area, particularly near the Strathallyn Golf Course?. Any locals frequent the area?. Please let me know. Cheers, Mark Kliene. To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
