We have a local wetland "opening" to go to tomorrow. Atriplex Services (that's us!) did the veg survey and helped with the bird list and a gentleman called Malcolm Moss has been the main mover and shaker in putting it all together. Like you, coincidentally, he organised a primary school art and (photography) competition, around the theme "birds of our wetlands". First prize is a copy of Simpson and Day. Members of the SAOA may remember Malcolm as a one-time librarian.
