Any Canberra birders who have not yet subscribed to the new mailing list Canberra Birding will have missed the hot hot hot info that a shorebird, tentatively identified as a Red Knot, was seen at the sewerage pond at Jerabomberra Wetland today. If accepted by the COG Rarities Panel, it will be the first for the ACT. For details, visit Canberra Birding at www.topica.com/lists/canberrabirds and click on 'Read This List' at the foot of the page. Better still, join the list at the same URL!
