We shouldn't be worried about what people from other countries think about twitching totals. A twitch was recently held in Canterbury, New Zealand, and the top total was a grand 80! At least occasionally we can score more points in rugby (sometimes even in cricket!) than we can see birds in a day. (This most recent week notwithstanding...). I hope Australia never manages this feat on the field. Good luck to the other 16 teams signed up by last night for the Qld twitch, Phil.
