I have just heard from Ian Dowling, president of B.O.C.A,.Mornington Peninsula branch that a pair of Red capped Plovers that were nesting on the beach at Rosebud on Port Phillip Bay has been destroyed by a council beach cleaner despite the fact that Ian notified the council as to the birds presence. What hope have we got!! Bett Mitchell To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
