What may not be obvious to less experienced emailers is that although their email program may automatically include a quote of the message to which they are replying, this can be avoided by them (the user). It's an option in the 'preferences' which can be found by using the on-line help files. Although drilling down to the help item required can be tedious, it can also be rewarding - exposing lots of previously undiscovered goodies for making our lives easier or more satisfying.
