Specifically and generally also pacifically  [= peacefully ;-) ]  they eat vast
quantities of small, white, "Italian" snails, hereabouts. I once timed one of a
flock as it swallowed approximately one snail per second, non-stop, for about 10
minutes, before I got bored and went inside for breakfast.
