Thanks for the Banyule story. Fantastic news, the council should be commended and Fred Smith as well for his role in protecting these wetlands. At Eltham (NE Melb) the Tawny Frogmouths are successfully rearing another two chicks this year on my patch. As I watched last night, the parents flew backwards and forwards feeding them not a bit concerned by my presence.
