In the NT Great Crested Grebe is at Darwin River Dam (about 60km s. of Darwin), certainly during the Dry Season and uncertainly at other times; it is also often seen on Lake Delamere (w. of Katherine) during the Dry. There are only a few records outside those areas in the Top End. What I'm keen to know is how often anyone sees these birds in non-breeding plumage!
