Hi everyone! I am heading for the Flinders ranges and then back to Qld via the Strzlecki track in a couple of week weather permitting. Id be very grateful for any local knowledge for the following which have so far eluded my efforts in far W. Qld/N.S.A......redthroat,rufous calamanthus, slender billed thornbill, gilberts whistler, southern scrub robin, elegant parrot, scarlet chested parrot, little button quail, thick billed grasswren.I assume the Lyndhurst site (Thomas & Thomas) is as good as anywhere for the Whiteface. Also which is the closest "reliable" site to Pt Augusta for Western Whipbird? Any other suggestions for local "southern' species would be much appreciated, cheers, Brian Patten.
