This talk about bird poetry reminded me of one of my favorite poems about
rainbow lorikeets, and what do you know, it's on the Web! Check out

Mark O'Connor is one of my favorite poets. His writings about the
rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef are just lovely. The Web site above
has quite a bit of information about him and his books, as well as some of
his other poems.
