Subject: Sthn. Fulmars - Vic. (Aust.)
John Boyce asks about the incidence of Southern Fulmar (Fulamrus
glacialoides) sightings in Victoria.
The Atlas of Victorian Wildlife has 96 records of the species for the state
and they have been found at the following coastal locations:
Warrnambool, Cape Otway, Phillip Island, Port Phillip Bay, Westernport,
Wilsons Promontory (west coast) and Corner Inlet.
The record is certainly of interest and would be a welcome addition to the
relevant database.
