Well... I did my 'pro-active' stint by getting out there on Saturday and letter-boxing Greens leaflets for a local candidate for the upcoming council elections... this was the added plus... an adult WHITE-BREASTED SEA-EAGLE flying over Beecroft railway station (north-west Sydney - about 40min out of CBD - for interstate readers), with a single brazen/foolhardy Noisy Miner in hot pursuit. A truly breathtaking sight and only the second time I've recorded a sea-eagle in Beecroft since 1987. I was very happy! Last Thursday afternoon I had a PEREGRINE FALCON darting over Castle Hill Road heading towards Castle Hill. A first for me for that neck of the woods. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you're all well, LORNE.
