I can second that! I was told by Andree Griffin just where to see them in
the Lake District (England), went there and found them. That was in 1976.
Absolutely engaging. The walked on rocks, walked down the rocks into the
water, walked about under the water, walked up and out of the water, and
repeated ... I was amazed. It was as if 'Air or water, what's the
difference?'
One of my most memorable birding experiences.
