In the last few years Crested Pigeons have established themselves around Mt. Eliza, Mornington and Mt. Martha on the Mornington Peninsula(Vic) Their numbers appear to be increasing. Yes it would be nice to see them replace the ubiquitous Spotted Turtle Dove. I would love to know the reason for their southward distribution. Any ideas Martin?
