2000 x NZ$799 is a rather tidy sum, so one would hope some goes to
the kiwis.

Unfortunately, people who use spam to drum up business are usually
more interested in profits than ethics or conservation.  (The culprit
may have tricked the mail server into accepting the message using the
forged, but valid, email address "" in order to hide
their tracks, but advertising their web site was rather silly.)
