Last week I took my overseas visitors to see Koalas at Anakie Gorge (75 km west of Melbourne). We were lucky enough to find some Koalas, and even luckier to see a pair of Powerful Owls, one with the usual half a possum dangling from its claws. They were visible from the track just 50 metres from Stony Creek picnic area in the direction of Anakie Gorge.
