Can anyone state with authority that the colours birdwatchers wear really do affect birds, other than the fact that movement may be more obvious to the birds if the mover is bright.It sometimes seems that bright colours attract some birds, a female Rose Robin flew up to my wife , clad in bright red, and inspected her for a minute or two, having ignored me in drabs.
