Hi Birders, Just in case anyone should think that there was something sinister about Alan Morris smiling when Trevor Quested who was on the lower deck of the Sandra K last Saturday off Wollongong, discovered that it was not rain, spraying all over him. I hasten to add that just before Trevor twigged to what was going on, I had thought that the spray from the boat was hitting my trousers and looking round I made the same discovery that Trevor made, so what else could I do but smile! It certainly was an adventurous trip and the first seabird trip in three years where I saw a new bird, three new birds in fact!! Antarctic Fulmar, Soft-plumage Petrel and Black-bellied Storm-Petrel!
