In the Castlereagh Nature Reserve, 1 hour west of Sydney I saw one Painted Buttonquail and saw dozens of "platelets" where certainly more than one had been scratching. We failed to see the Red-capped Robin. At Londonderry public school where we saw so many Swift Parrots last winter, the two main Mugga Ironbarks were in full blossom but alas no Swift Parrots. Just Noisy Miners and 1 Rainbow Lorikeet.
