I'm thinking of putting up on my web-pages a page of Common Birding ID
Mistakes, which might help beginning birders.

Has anyone any confessions to make about about their early mis-IDs of
Australian Birds, or has anyone any thoughts on things which might get
confused (though of course THEY have never made that mistake).

As this is a thread which other people might find irritating, perhaps people
might like to respond directly to me and then I could a post a summary.
