As it was a point of discussion recently I thought I should post the following web address for those interested in flora and fauna issues in Australia, specifically Victoria. The site has a bit on threatened species with a few birds for interest. Specifically the Helmeted Honeyeater, Regent Honeyeater and Swift Parrot in the Threatened Species Information Sheets. The site can be found at: http://www.nre.vic.gov.au/plntanml/native/educat.htm Martin O'Brien Executive Scientific Officer Scientific Advisory Committee Threatened Species Program Department of Natural Resources and Environment 4/250 Victoria Pde., East Melbourne, 3002 Victoria, AUSTRALIA tel: +61 3 9412 4567 fax: +61 3 9412 4586 e-mail: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe from this list, please send a message to Include ONLY "unsubscribe birding-aus" in the message body (without the quotes) |
