> Just had to tell someone, or lots of people, that I saw 13 > superb lyrebirds in the Tarra-Bulga National Park area (in > Gippsland Vic., approx. 200 km south-east of Melbourne) > Those that I saw when I was on foot ignored me and went on > with their foraging and singing and mimicry in full view. > Truly wonderful! The Tarra-Bulga's are undoubtedly one of the best place to see the Superb Lyrebird in Victoria. When I was last there I was treated to a quadrophonic sound display - at least 4 birds calling - I was completely surrounded by the a symphony of lyrebird calls!
