1 I am looking for someone to review Steve Howell's Where to watch birds in
Mexico for Australian Birding Magazine (around 500 words)
Someone who has been there recently, or who is going very soon and can road
test it. You get to keep the book.
2 Also in view of recent discussion of Wheatley's Where to watch birds in
Aust and the Pacific, I would be happy to hear from anyone who has actually
used it in the Pacific (so far all comments have been about Australia). We
reviewed it (favourably) when it came out; some errors in the Australian
section have been pointed out and there has been discussion eg about the
names used; I may run a supplementary article but I think it would be more
useful to advise our readers about the non-Australian places.
